SVA Skills is our campaign to mobilise, engage and support a new generation of volunteers. Our programme is free thanks to the generous support by Citycare Property and Citycare Water, and has over 32,000 tamariki across Aotearoa taking part each year.
At SVA, we believe that anyone – no matter their age, experience or skills – can be a volunteer.

The SVA Service Award is a free platform where volunteers can record and reflect on their volunteering hours.
Volunteers work towards physical badges - Member, Bronze, Silver and Gold - to acknowledge the work they do in their community, whether it be for their school, whānau or neighbourhood.
We help volunteers get the acknowledgement they deserve for the work they do.

SVA Clubs are headed by amazing executive committees who plan and facilitate volunteering opportunities for their members.
Students lead the way to combat societal gaps while making participation easy, non-discriminatory, and most importantly, enjoyable.
Being a part of a committee is a fun yet challenging experience where students go through a self-development journey while picking up transferable skills for their future careers, all while making a difference.
