Over the Level 4 lockdown, we built an entire online grocery store and delivery service, from scratch, within a week, and had it operating nationally. The SVA Grocery Delivery Service helped thousands of people in real need during New Zealand’s COVID-19 lockdown and gave thousands of volunteers an opportunity to help. The Resilience in Crisis award will be presented to an organisation in recognition of a quick business pivot for a sustainable outcome in times of Covid-19. If you think that we deserve to win, please vote for us! Votes can be cast here. Please encourage your family and friends to vote too!
Congratulations to the 3,000+ volunteers who put themselves forward to help in a time of crisis – and the core team of 102 people who coordinated an entire Grocery Delivery service, nationally. This award recognises all of YOUR efforts in supporting your community!
Thank you also to all of our friends & partners who supported us to make the COVID-19 Response possible and a special thanks to our major supporters!
