We decided for our project, that we could mulch the school garden to keep the weeds from springing up. Mulching the garden has been a project the school has been working to complete, as we have recently planted an orchard. 

The first thing we did was lay down carpet to stop any weeds coming through. We then we covered the carpet with mulch to finish it off. We tried to lay all the mulch down so we could finish it all in one day! 

Before we went to morning tea we had some juice to stay hydrated!

The students loved the project and had a great day in the sunshine.
