This was an amazing project that was so rewarding for our children. One group decided to visit a local rest home, making truffles and bookmarks for the residents. They also helped serve afternoon tea and talked with the elderly residents.

A second group made contact with a local organisation, Foster Hope, to see how they could assist with this worthy cause. They were told the organisation needed underwear, soft toys, and toiletries, so the children fundraised, collected donations from our school families, and then went shopping on a budget, putting together these amazing packs.

We would definitely consider doing this project again with future students.
