A cover letter which includes the following:
- The position(s) you’re applying for
- Why you’re applying for the position(s)*
- A list of any previous involvement with the SVA (for example volunteering events/leadership forums you have attended)
- Key skills you would bring to the position and the exec team as a whole**
- How you will balance the time commitment of the exec role
- A short CV with your name, email address and what year you are at uni.
*We advise you apply for no more than 3 positions and make clear your preferred position if you have one.
**If you are applying for the position of Treasurer, Communications Manager, IT Manager and Marketing Manager it is preferable that you have relevant experience/skills. For example, if you are applying for the position of Treasurer and you are studying Accounting/Finance, please state so.
Note: If your application is shortlisted then we’ll sort out the details of when your interview will be via email. Interviews will take place on either Saturday 24th August or Sunday 25th August. If you are not in a position to attend an interview on these dates please let us know in your application, we may be able to arrange an alternative time.
