The students worked with the coordinators and caretakers at Whareroa farm, where we covered many areas including tree planting, wildlife identification and pest control.

In order to get to this point, our SVA (who completely ran the show) sought parent permission for all students, priced and organised buses. Liaised with the necessary volunteers at Whareroa on the Kapiti Coast, made sure all necessary pre-trip activities and learning had taken place, and all required resources were made available.

The experience was great, and the leadership skills developed by the students will always be with them.
