The students completed a range of projects about all kinds of issues.

A group of girls looked into why people are mean. They have created a website with tips, as well as a “how mean are you” quiz. https://kaylasteiner.wixsite.com/bekind

Another group of girls wanted to see the amount of waste we produce reduced, so they have created a website with recipes to create your own products – they are also selling some of these. https://ourhomemadezerowaste.weebly.com/

Some of the boys want to see shark finning stopped. They have emailed the Department of Conservation, as well as set up a website to inform people about the effects – spbinc.weebly.com

Another group of boys ended up writing a rap to try to put people off smoking.

The students enjoyed putting these projects together and hope to some change come from them!
