Nga Motu Platoon from Paihia School are in the process of creating a bird corridor to join their local forest to the foreshore.

These photos show a recent visit from our local community group: Bay Bush Action who are responsible for trapping predators. We learnt a lot about native birds and predators. They left us with a kiwi nesting box to decorate it will go into the Opua Forest.
