We were quite stuck with what to do with it being term 3, our camp coming up, our online connection with an Indonesian class coming up, and our crazy schedule rolling out as we continued throughout the term. As a class, we decided to link our project to something we were already doing – camp!

On camp, we went the beach and tidied up the beautiful Pataua North Beach, collecting everything and placing it into a bottle. We managed to nearly fill 5 milk bottles and found things like plastic, fishing line, wrappers, and even a few beer bottles!

We felt great making a positive change and it was humbling to watch the students as they took it upon themselves to be tidy kiwis!
