Newtown School-weave the fence! from Newtown School

When we canvassed our local shops to see how they wanted us to help, they wanted us to beautify our school and so this surprise project began.

It was a big fence to weave! All our volunteer student army had special tasks including safety, caterers and organisers as per the badges provided.

We loved the importance and responsibility of contributing and working together.

This project led to others…helping our local council, painting rocks to give away, visiting our local old people’s home.

We now have the bug…the bug for helping others.
