Many of our students had never spent time with elderly people, and they came back changed – saying how old people are cool and have such amazing stories to tell. We met war heroes, school teachers who rode on horseback to school back in the day, and even a lady who fought in the second world war.

The students have learnt how important/valuable community and volunteerism is. We have decided to visit the Old Age home on a regular basis now.
