My class has been involved in seven different projects.

They are:
1 Cleaning up the campus (we have an Intermediate and Grammar right next to us) and this team picked up heaps of rubbish.
2 Putting up posters around dairies which sell cigarettes to encourage people to stop smoking.
3 Collecting food to give to Countdown’s food rescue.
4 Designing a kid-friendly rubbish bin and emailing the design to the council asking them to put more rubbish bins around the place and use their kid-friendly design to make them.
5 Keeping elderly lonely people company by visiting a rest home nearby.
6 Reading to and helping the new entrants with their learning.
7 Cleaning up the local reserve. Again they picked heaps of rubbish.
