In student council, we have been planning a big Fun Run. At the Fun Run, we are going to sell food and drinks, but water will be free because we don’t want people to get thirsty!

We are doing this Fun Run to raise money to plant native plants in our school wetland. We are also hoping to set some traps to catch pests like rats and possums. We decided the thing we wanted most was more native birds in our area, so we want to do a working bee at the local wetland to encourage more native birds to come and live here.

We were sad we didn’t have time to run our event this year but we look forward to doing it early next year.
