Our class had been focussing on doing something nice for someone else, treating other people better, and not thinking about ourselves so much. We decided to do some baking for the folks at the local rest home.

The kids felt this was worthwhile, as they residents enjoyed the visit and baking the kids had done. This was the students’ way of giving something back to our local community. They are also looking at doing some more baking and/or cards for Christmas, as they are aware some people do not get the opportunity to spend Christmas with family.
