Our school ended up having six projects for the SVA in the Wanaka Community involving 96 students from four classrooms.
We cleaned up Sticky Forest of lots of rubbish, delivered baking to people who needed encouragement and a retirement home, visited a retirement home and played games with the elderly, performed Random Acts of Kindness around town, and did tree planting. All of these projects were extremely successful.
The students took their roles very seriously. They loved having the volunteer badges to wear.
