The first project we have worked on this term was writing prayers for people in our community. These prayers will be sent to people in our community – perhaps a local rest home or community city. The idea behind the prayers was to write for ‘unknown’ people. Really acknowledging that even though we do not know everyone in our community, there will be people who are lonely or sad that would welcome kind words from strangers.

We have more volunteer projects in the planning stages for the future.
