The students have been collecting rubbish during participating in our outdoor challenges.

We climbed up Mount Pureora and walked around the start of the Timber trail.

It was a great way to get students together to discuss a Worldwide problem and they could then relate these issues to our own backyard through practical activities.

We brainstormed ideas on what we could do to support a group in our community and came up with the idea of designing cards for the Taupo SPCA.

In small groups we wrote thank you cards, and cards that could be used to encourage the adoption of the animals!

Some families kindly donated food parcels, and Mrs G delivered our gift box to the SPCA in the school holidays.
