Heretaunga Purple Hearts from Heretaunga Intermediate.

Room 10 planned and participated in a great bakeoff and donated it all to the local Hastings Hospital.

We as a class visited the Emergency Room, the Maternity Ward and lastly the Children’s Ward.

All the baked goods were gifted to all the doctors, nurses, office staff and support workers who work hard every day saving people’s lives.

Patients on these wards were also given cakes, biscuits and scones to brighten their day.

The kids loved creating, organizing and gifting their products for those who are in need, recognizing their hard work.
