Who we are
We are the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) branch of the Student Volunteer Army.
Launching in 2022, we’re excited to bring the SVA mission to AUT and our students.
Our team comprises a small yet devoted group of students – including students who are undertaking the AUT Edge Award and Beyond AUT programmes.
Our aim
Our aim is to encourage students to volunteer through the creation of opportunities including events and activities. This would in turn benefit our wider communities and help those in need.
Our 2022 plan
As Student Volunteer Army’s newest university club, we aim to work closely with Auckland SVA and the student clubs community to create volunteering events on a regular basis. We also aim to collaborate closely with AUT’s Employability and Careers Department who manage the AUT Edge Award and Beyond AUT programmes to help students seeking to complete those programmes do so with the Student Volunteer Army.
