ASHURST SCHOOL

Ashhurst School

Our project theme was good sorts, where the students had to choose something that would help the community.

They made frozen meals that were donated for the church to give to people in need, made book bags filled with books for the children’s ward at the hospital, and cut kindling to donate to Plunket for families with newborn babies.

These students investigated how they could help in our community.

One created book bags that they filled with old school journals for children in the hospital.

The other group created Memory Seeds to be given out to people who have had a pet die. They delivered these to our local vet clinic.
